Maria is a Director at the firm who has over 30 years of corporate finance and financial auditing experience. Maria works extensively as an operating financial executive with Triton’s restructuring practice clients confirming the appropriate accounting treatment compliance and adherence to proper policies and procedures.  Utilizing her background as a former large corporate CFO, Maria offers a true practitioners view when advising clients on the managerial and financial accounting issues and challenges.

Prior to joining Triton, Maria held positions of increased financial responsibility, ultimately leading to the Chief Financial Officer's position at Don Greene Poultry (DGP), a wholesale food distribution business and former Triton client. Before that, Maria was an Audit Manager at Lavethol & Horwath.

Maria received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida and a master's degree in accounting from St. Thomas University. She has been a certified public accountant for over 25 years.
